Centuary Fibre Plates is seeking an Assistant Product Manager for Sofas & Mattresses to bolster the product portfolio. The role encompasses NPD, pricing, market intelligence, sales enablement, and lifecycle management across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical/coordinating skills, familiarity with consumer furniture trends, and experience working with R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales to drive product success.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Product Management or Marketing.
• Exposure to furniture/home products is a plus.
• Experience in NPD, market research, pricing, and launches is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Product Manager Sofas & Mattresses to support the development and growth of the product portfolio. The role will involve New Product Development, market and competitor intelligence, product pricing, sales enablement, product training, content development, and product lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and coordination skills, a good understanding of consumer products and market trends, and the ability to work effectively with R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support New Product Development (NPD) in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Identify new materials, fabrics, accessories, cores, and product elements for product innovation.
• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis.
• Support product costing, pricing, positioning, and new product launches.
• Prepare product literature, specifications, presentations, and sales enablement materials.
• Conduct product training for new joinees, sales teams, dealers, and channel partners.
• Support digital, social media, and E-commerce product content creation.
• Provide product and on-ground sales support, resolving product-related queries and issues.
• Ensure availability of POSM, catalogues, and product communication materials.
• Maintain MIS, product trackers, invoice trackers, and monthly dashboards.
• Monitor product performance and lifecycle and recommend improvements based on market feedback.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Product Development, Category Management, Brand Management, or Marketing.
• Experience in Furniture, Mattresses, Sofas, Home Furnishing, Consumer Durables, or related consumer-product industries would be preferred.
• Candidates with exposure to NPD, product launches, market research, competitive analysis, pricing, and sales enablement will be preferred.
• Should be comfortable with factory visits, market visits, store visits, and interaction with Sales/Channel teams.
