Job Summary

The Production & Technical Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end production process for sofas, preparing and maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), handling technical aspects related to sofa manufacturing, and ensuring effective coordination between various production departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve technical aspects related to sofa manufacturing, including construction, materials, dimensions, specifications, and production requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for different sofa models and designs.
• Coordinate with various departments such as design, cutting, carpentry, upholstery, stitching, finishing, quality control, and dispatch to ensure seamless production flow.
• Monitor production progress and ensure that products are manufactured according to approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Communicate technical and production requirements clearly to the relevant teams.
• Identify production issues or technical challenges and coordinate with concerned departments to implement effective solutions.
• Ensure proper availability and utilization of materials and components as per the BOM and production requirements.
• Assist in improving production processes, reducing material wastage, and enhancing overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production-related documentation, specifications, and technical records.
• Coordinate with relevant teams regarding changes in designs, materials, specifications, or production processes.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between different production functions to minimize delays and errors.
