Job summary

Hirschvogel Components in Maharashtra is seeking an experienced HR Operations professional to lead end-to-end payroll, attendance processing, and statutory compliance for on-roll, contract, and leased employees.

The role requires hands-on SAP knowledge, strong understanding of Maharashtra labour laws, and the ability to manage HRIS data, MIS reporting, salary structures, and employee documentation.

Qualifications

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equal qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Payroll, HR Operations & Compliance.
  • Strong payroll & HR operations expertise.
  • Hands-on SAP knowledge (SAP/Ascent).
  • Sound understanding of Maharashtra labour laws, Factories Act, Minimum Wages and statutory compliance.
  • HRIS management, MIS/reporting, salary structure management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll and monthly attendance processing for on-roll, contract and leased employees.
  • Manage employee attendance, leave, punching, payroll inputs and resolve payroll/attendance-related queries.
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and prepare MIS, payroll reports and data analysis.
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities including joining formalities, SAP/Ascent entries, PF/ESIC registration, offer/appointment letters, and employee documentation.
  • Maintain employee personal files and HRIS records in digital and physical formats.
  • Manage employee data in SAP, Ascent and HIT.
  • Ensure timely compliance with PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, Mediclaim and other applicable statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in Maharashtra labour laws, Acts, Rules and statutory requirements, including the Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act and applicable wage notifications.
  • Assess the impact of changes in minimum wages and other statutory requirements and implement necessary changes in salary structures, payroll and employee benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Factories Act and labour laws, including maintaining statutory records and supporting inspections and audits.
  • Handle employee insurance support and provide training to new joiners on payroll, attendance, PF, ESIC and medical insurance policies.
  • Communicate changes in HR policies, payroll practices and statutory benefits and ensure timely implementation.
