Hyosung T&D India Pvt Ltd invites applications for an Assistant Manager - Civil Engineer (Statcom Civil Engineer_Gujarat) to lead site civil construction activities in Maharashtra. The role focuses on foundations, grading, RCC/PCC works, and coordination with QA/QC and other trades.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of civil engineering experience, with BE/B.Tech (Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engg., and a strong emphasis on safety, schedules, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil site execution and supervision is essential.
• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Civil with relevant site exposure.

Responsibilities

• Execute civil works including site grading, foundations, PCC/RCC, and equipment foundations.
• Supervise contractors and monitor daily progress per approved schedules.
• Verify setting out, levels, reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete quality.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, material approvals, and testing.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and permit-to-work systems.
• Review drawings and raise RFIs for design discrepancies or site constraints.
• Monitor material consumption and coordinate with procurement for availability.
• Measure executed quantities and certify contractor bills.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and site issues.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams before equipment installation.
• Participate in client and internal review meetings and provide status updates.
• Prepare snag lists and ensure punch-point closure before handover.
• Maintain as-built records, site docs, and handover dossiers.

Job Description

• Execute civil works including site grading, excavation, foundations, PCC/RCC works, equipment foundations, transformer foundations, control building, cable trenches, retaining walls, roads, drainage systems, fencing, and paving works.
• Supervise contractors and monitor daily progress to ensure work is completed as per approved construction schedules.
• Verify setting out, levels, dimensions, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete quality, and finishing before and during execution.
• Coordinate with QA/QC engineers for inspections, material approvals, concrete testing, and work acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, permit-to-work systems, and safe construction practices.
• Review construction drawings and raise RFIs (Requests for Information) for design discrepancies or site constraints.
• Monitor material consumption and coordinate with the procurement team for timely material availability.
• Measure executed quantities and verify contractor bills as per actual work completed.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, highlighting completed work, pending activities, and site issues.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure civil works are completed before equipment installation and commissioning.
• Participate in client, consultant, and internal project review meetings, providing updates on civil execution status.
• Prepare snag lists, ensure timely rectification of deficiencies, and complete punch-point closure before project handover.
• Maintain as-built records, site documentation, inspection reports, and handover dossiers for final project completion

Requirements

• Experience: 5 to 10 Years
• Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Civil), Diploma in Civil Engg. with minimum 5 Year Experience.
