Job summary

Hyosung T & D India Pvt Ltd is hiring a Site Incharge for the STATCOM Krishnagir project. The role is full-time and based on site in Tamil Nadu, with the candidate expected to manage on-site construction activities and coordinate multiple engineering teams.

Applicants should have 15–20 years of experience and hold BE/B.Tech in Civil/Electrical or a Diploma. The position requires ensuring safety, quality, and timely project execution in line with drawings, specs, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities for the STATCOM project with emphasis on safety, timeliness, and quality.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical, control & protection, and commissioning teams to hit milestones.
• Ensure activities follow approved drawings, technical specs, schedules, and contracts.
• Monitor progress, resources, and productivity to meet objectives.
• Supervise contractors and site staff, ensuring quality and HSE compliance.
• Liaise with Project Manager, client, vendors, and authorities on site matters.
• Ensure availability of manpower, materials, equipment, and tools as needed.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover with closure of punch points.
• Maintain as-built records, site docs, inspection reports, and handover dossiers.

Job Description
