Job summary

Hyosungtndindia is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead civil quality for a STATCOM substation project. The role covers implementing the QMS, reviewing plans, managing inspections, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and lab teams.

The candidate will audit material quality, track NCRs and CAPA, and maintain comprehensive QA documentation. A 5–10 year background in civil works with relevant BE/B.Tech or Diploma is required, with a 5-day work week and competitive benefits.

• BE/B.Tech (Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engg. with relevant experience.
• 5 days work week; Monday–Friday with weekends off.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) for civil works in the STATCOM substation project.
• Ensure civil construction activities comply with drawings, specs, client requirements, and standards.
• Prepare and review ITPs, Method Statements, and Quality Assurance Procedures.
• Conduct inspections of excavation, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, masonry and related works.
• Coordinate with client, consultant and third-party inspection agencies for approvals.
• Verify material quality and MAR compliance; monitor field and lab testing.
• Identify NCRs, monitor CAPA, and ensure closure.
• Maintain quality records and project QA documentation.
• Support internal and external quality audits; ensure alignment with quality objectives.
• Coordinate with construction, planning, engineering and HSE to integrate quality requirements.
• Prepare quality dossiers and as-built records for handover.

Senior Engineer - (STATCOM Quality _Siwani )

1. Implementand maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) for all civil works inthe STATCOM substation project.

2. Ensure civilconstruction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications,client requirements, applicable standards, and contract documents.

3. Prepare,review, and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, andQuality Assurance Procedures.

4. Conductinspections of civil works, including excavation, reinforcement, formwork,concreting, masonry, structural steel, roads, drainage, cable trenches, andfinishing works.

5. Coordinatewith the client, consultant, and third-party inspection agencies forinspections and approvals.

6. Verify thequality of incoming construction materials and ensure compliance with approvedMaterial Approval Requests (MARs).

7. Monitorfield and laboratory testing of construction materials such as concrete,cement, aggregates, steel reinforcement, soil, and backfilling materials.

8. Identifynon-conformities (NCRs), monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), andverify effective closure.

9. Maintainquality records, inspection reports, test reports, and project qualitydocumentation.

10. Supportinternal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with project qualityobjectives.

11. Coordinatewith construction, planning, engineering, and HSE teams to ensure qualityrequirements are integrated into project execution.

12. Ensure timely preparation and submission of quality dossiers, as-builtquality records, and project handover documentation.
