Job summary

Hyosungtndindia is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site execution for the STATCOM project in India. You will coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical, control & protection, and commissioning teams to deliver milestones safely, on time, and in compliance with drawings and specifications.

The role requires 15–18 years of on-site construction experience in relevant fields, with a 5-day work week, meal allowance, health insurance, and opportunity for performance-based

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site reviews and mitigate schedule risks.

Job description

• Manage all on-site construction activities for the STATCOM project, ensuring safe, timely, and quality execution.
  
• Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical, control & protection, and commissioning teams to achieve project milestones.
  
• Ensure execution is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and contractual requirements.
  
• Monitor site progress, resource utilization, and productivity to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel, ensuring compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
  
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, client, vendors, and local authorities on all site-related matters.
  
• Ensure timely availability of manpower, materials, construction equipment, and tools.
  
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities by ensuring construction completion and closure of punch points.
  
• Maintain as-built records, site documentation, inspection reports, and handover dossiers for final project completion Resolve site execution issues and coordinate engineering support for technical clarifications and design. changes.
  
• Conduct daily site review meetings and monitor critical activities to mitigate schedule risks..

Requirements
