Job summary

Hyosungtndindia is seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer for Pune district to oversee execution of civil works across foundations, earthworks, drainage, and paving. You will supervise contractors, ensure compliance with schedules, and coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and material approvals.

The role requires 5–10 years of civil site experience, a BE/B.Tech (Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engg., and a 5-day work week with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Execute civil works including site grading, excavation, foundations, PCC/RCC works, equipment foundations, transformer foundations, control building, cable trenches, retaining walls, roads, drainage, fencing, and paving.
• Supervise contractors and monitor daily progress to ensure work aligns with approved schedules.
• Verify setting out, levels, dimensions, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete quality, and finish during execution.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, material approvals, concrete testing, and work acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, permit-to-work systems, and safe construction practices.
• Review drawings and raise RFIs for design discrepancies or site constraints.
• Monitor material consumption and coordinate with procurement for timely availability.
• Measure executed quantities and verify contractor bills.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and highlight issues.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams to finish civil works before equipment installation.
• Participate in client/consultant meetings and provide status updates.
• Prepare snag lists, rectify deficiencies, and complete punch points before handover.
• Maintain as-built records and handover dossiers for final completion.

12. 12. Prepare snag lists, ensure timely rectification of deficiencies, andcomplete punch-point closure before project handover.
13. 13. Maintain as-built records, sitedocumentation, inspection reports, and handover dossiers for final project completion
