KSB in India is seeking a Design Engineer with 3-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering to design mould schemes and casting models using NX. You will work on core and mould production, perform 3D printing operations, and ensure equipment readiness.

The role requires familiarity with SAP for BOM creation, routing, PR and stock monitoring, and the ability to manage manpower across three shifts while maintaining IMS records.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-7 years of professional experience.
• Design mould schemes using NX.
• Design casting models using NX.
• Core & mould production with 3D printing.
• SAP: BOM creation, routing, PR and stock monitoring.
• Manpower handling and 3-shift work.
• IMS records maintenance for 3D dept.

Requirement profile:

Formal education: Diploma/Degree Mechanical \Engineering

Professional experience 3-7 years

Major responsibilities:

• Design mould scheme [Core, mould, Methoding,layout, clearances, flow offs, gas pins, etc. by using 3D modelling software NX.
• Design casting model, modify/delete/create surfaces & features as per requirement by using 3D modelling software NX.
• Core & mould production, operation by using 3D printing machine,
• Ensuring 3D printing machine & utilities are in good condition.
• Program preparation for 3D printing machine
• SAP : BOM Creation & routing, PR, Stock monitoring.
• Manpower handling & to be worked in all 3 shifts.
• Maintain all records related 3D departments as per IMS.

Defined competencies :

• Design knowledge by using UG/NX.
• Foundry process knowledge for 3D modelling.
• Drawing reading,
• Design knowledge in Solid & Surface modelling
