Job summary

Sealmatic India Ltd. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Sales & Service to serve customers across the Gujarat region by identifying needs and engineering adaptations of mechanical seals.

The role focuses on growing business from OEMs and end users with strong technical support and sales leadership. The ideal candidate will have 8–9 years in mechanical seals and rotary equipment, a BE Mechanical degree, and proven ability to build accounts, provide technical information, and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical).
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical seals.
• Proven track record in sales and customer service within the mechanical seals & rotary equipment industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify current and future customer requirements for mechanical seals by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers in Gujarat region.
• Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by promptly responding to questions and requests from OEMs & End Users.
• Establish new accounts and service existing accounts by identifying potential customers and organizing sales call schedules.
• Determine improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environments and proposing changes accordingly.
• Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements.
• Submit offers by conferring with technical support staff.
• Develop customer confidence by providing technical information and training.
• Prepare sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information, engineering trends, and application data.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
