DP World Chennai is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive EXIM container volume growth and secure new business in commodities, technology, e-commerce and retail sectors. You will build a robust sales pipeline through outreach, networking and industry events, tailor compelling proposals, and collaborate with operations, customer service and finance for smooth onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Drive EXIM container volume growth to meet or exceed 1000 TEUs per month.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in Commodities, Technology, E-commerce and Retail sectors.
• Conduct in-depth market research to analyze customer requirements, market trends and competitor strategies.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Create and deliver impactful sales presentations and customized proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and finance) to ensure effective client onboarding and service fulfillment.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing, balancing profitability with client satisfaction and industry benchmarks.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including CXOs, SCM heads, and procurement leaders in target sectors.
• Monitor industry dynamics, competitor actions, and customer feedback to enhance service offerings.
• Provide accurate sales forecasting and performance reports to senior management.
