Roles And Responsibilities Sales

• Lead Generation: Build a strong pipeline and secure new business inquiries.
• Planning & Forecasting: Manage sales planning and volume forecasting for designated trade lanes. Quotation & Booking:
• Prepare quotations, ensure margin adherence, obtain client approvals, and confirm bookings. Financial Management:
• Follow up on payments and collections to ensure timely receivables. Pricing: Carrier Relationships:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines while identifying sector strengths and service offerings.
• Rate Procurement: Obtain competitive freight rates from multiple carriers for day-to-day shipments. Contract Management:
• Negotiate and file contract rates for volumetric shipments while protecting target margins. Quotation Delivery:
• Share Finalized Quotations With The Sales And Customer Service Teams, Including Approved Freight Rates, Origin And Destination Local Charges, Rate Validity, And Free Days.

Key Result Areas (KRAs/KPIs)

Drive revenue growth and TEU volume. Maintain target profitability and margin percentages. Support geographical expansion across gateway ports.

Manage and optimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Lead and support new project initiatives, including Bulk Cargo, RoRo, and other specialized logistics solutions.
