Job summary

BECO is seeking an Assistant Manager – R&D to drive new product development, quality improvement, and innovation for its sustainable home-care line. The role involves coordinating with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and suppliers, conducting product testing, trials, and QC checks across locations.

You should have 5–8 years in R&D/Product Development (FMCG/Home Care), strong analytical and communication skills, and be willing to travel for on-site testing and QC activities.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in R&D/Product Development, preferably in FMCG, Home Care, Cleaning Products, or Consumer Products.
• Strong understanding of product testing, formulation, and quality parameters.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel across locations for product testing and QC activities.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support new product development and formulation activities.
• Conduct product testing, trials, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and suppliers for product development.
• Conduct QC checks and product evaluations across different locations as required.
• Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost optimization, and quality enhancement.
• Prepare and maintain R&D documentation, specifications, test reports, and product records.
• Ensure products meet defined quality, safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
• Support troubleshooting of product quality and formulation-related issues.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify new product opportunities.
