Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packaging Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging and excellent coordination skills. This role requires effective communication and organizational abilities to manage the procurement process and liaise between various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Packaging Development:
• Assist in sourcing and procuring packaging materials as per the company's requirements.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of packaging materials.
• Maintain a basic understanding of different types of packaging materials and their applications.
• Enhance packaging specification and come up with new packaging ideas / design options.
• Support NPD engine through packaging innovation and cost reduction projects for categories like laminate, corrugated boxes, caps and closures, etc.
• Finding new vendors for existing categories.
• Vendor Coordination:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure seamless communication and transactions.
• Coordinate with the factory team to understand packaging needs and align them with vendor capabilities.
• Facilitate regular meetings and communication between vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment on delivery schedules and quality standards.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including vendor agreements, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, budget usage, and vendor performance for management review.

Requirements

• Experience: 3 plus years of experience in packaging procurement, with a proven track record of managing vendor relationships and procurement processes.
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge of packaging materials and their applications.
• Skills: Strong organizational and coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
