Job summary

Sterlite Power Transmission Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager - Quality to lead quality activities across projects in India. You will implement quality plans, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards throughout site execution.

You will support site teams, coordinate with project heads and contractors, and escalate issues to ensure continuous improvement and zero-defect delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of Sterlite Power Transmission Limited Quality Plans & Policy
• Support section manager, site engineer & supervisor to communicate method statements & standard procedure down to the worker's level.
• Monitor implementation of Quality Plans and raise non-conformance if any deviation found
• Facilitate Quality internal & external audit and assist HSE head in compliance of the non-conformity raises.
• Exercise authority to suspend work, in case of deviations in Field Quality plans and drawing requirement, until corrective actions are taken
• Assist Project Head to conduct periodical HSE coordination meetings with Sterlite POWER / Contractors / Partners / other governing body and raise important issues to Unit management.
• Escalate any deviation/observation to Head QHSE for action.
• Daily Inspection Report - This report shall contain the details of location-wise activities performed on a day along with observations and photographs. Weekly Consolidated Report - Consolidated report of all the locations covered in a week.

Position Title

Assistant Manager - Quality

Position Summary

To identify, evaluate, negotiate, and acquire suitable land parcels across India for construction of substations through lease, rental, or purchase arrangements. The role is responsible for scouting land opportunities, conducting due diligence, securing statutory permissions, completing commercial negotiations, and ensuring smooth handover of acquired land to project teams for execution.
