Job summary

Resonia, formerly Sterlite Power, is seeking an Assistant Manager - HSE to lead HSE compliance for land acquisition and project handover processes across India. The role involves implementing HSE policies, conducting site inspections, and driving safety improvements with strong governance and reporting practices.

The position requires frequent travel and collaboration with project teams to ensure safety standards are met during site visits, negotiations, and land-related activities.

Responsibilities

• HSE compliance: Ensure implementation of HSE policies, project HSE plans, procedures and statutory requirements across sites.
• Risk and safety monitoring: Conduct site inspections, identify hazards and ensure risk controls are in place.
• Stop work and corrective action: Exercise stop work authority for critical safety deviations and ensure corrective actions before work resumes.
• Incident and contractor management: Drive contractor HSE compliance and manage reporting, investigation and closure of incidents and non-conformities.
• HSE governance and reporting: Facilitate audits, toolbox talks and HSE meetings; maintain safety reports and action trackers.

Assistant Manager - HSE

Position Summary

To identify, evaluate, negotiate, and acquire suitable land parcels across India for construction of substations through lease, rental, or purchase arrangements. The role is responsible for scouting land opportunities, conducting due diligence, securing statutory permissions, completing commercial negotiations, and ensuring smooth handover of acquired land to project teams for execution.

1. HSE Compliance: Ensure implementation of HSE policies, project HSE plans, procedures and statutory requirements across sites.

3. Stop Work & Corrective Action: Exercise Stop Work Authority for critical safety deviations and ensure corrective actions before work resumes.
4. Incident & Contractor Management: Drive contractor HSE compliance and manage reporting, investigation and closure of incidents, near misses and HSE non-conformities.
