Job summary

Resonia invites applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Quality. The position focuses on implementing Sterlite Power Quality Plans, supporting site teams, monitoring conformance, and facilitating audits to uphold safety and quality across projects.

You will coordinate with project heads, drive non-conformity resolutions, supervise field QA activities, review daily and weekly reports, and ensure timely handover of compliant land parcels and equipment to construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Support section manager, site engineers & supervisors to convey method statements & procedures down to workers.
• Monitor quality plan implementation and raise non-conformances as needed.
• Assist in internal & external quality audits and help address non-conformities.
• Escalate deviations to Head QHSE and coordinate corrective actions.
• Assist Project Head in coordinating HSE meetings with stakeholders and management.
• Prepare Daily Inspection Reports detailing location-wise activities and observations.

Position Title

Assistant Manager - Quality

Position Summary

To identify, evaluate, negotiate, and acquire suitable land parcels across India for construction of substations through lease, rental, or purchase arrangements. The role is responsible for scouting land opportunities, conducting due diligence, securing statutory permissions, completing commercial negotiations, and ensuring smooth handover of acquired land to project teams for execution.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

1. Ensure implementation of Sterlite Power Transmission Limited Quality Plans & Policy
2. Support section manager, site engineer & supervisor to communicate method statements & standard procedure down to the worker’s level.
3. Monitor implementation of Quality Plans and raise non-conformance if any deviation found
4. Facilitate Quality internal & external audit and assist HSE head in compliance of the non-conformity raises.
5. Exercise authority to suspend work, in case of deviations in Field Quality plans and drawing requirement, until corrective actions are taken
6. Assist Project Head to conduct periodical HSE coordination meetings with Sterlite POWER / Contractors / Partners / other governing body and raise important issues to Unit management.
7. Escalate any deviation/observation to Head QHSE for action.
8. Daily Inspection Report – This report shall contain the details of location-wise activities performed on a day along with observations and photographs. Weekly Consolidated Report – Consolidated report of all the locations covered in a week.
