Job summary

Inventia Healthcare Limited is seeking a skilled procurement professional in Mumbai to manage sourcing of Excipients, Solvents and Capsules for R&D and commercial projects. You will generate POs in SAP S/4 HANA and coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery to the plant.

The role requires 4–6 years of API/Excipient sourcing experience in formulations companies and a solid understanding of the global pharmaceutical supply chain.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of API/ Excipient sourcing experience in pharma.
• Proficient in pharma procurement and R&D sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of global pharmaceutical supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Source Excipients, Solvents and Capsules for R&D and commercial projects.
• Generate Purchase Orders in SAP S/4 HANA.
• Track shipments to ensure timely delivery to plant.
• Develop alternate vendors meeting regulatory and cost targets.
• Acquire vendor qualification documents and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with CQA, FD, ARD, RA, QC, Project Management, Accounts and Stores.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for sourcing activity of Excipients, Solvents and Capsules for R&D and Commercial projects.
• Responsible for generating Purchase Orders in SAP S/4 HANA.
• Track shipments and ensuring the material is delivered at plant as per the committed timelines from PPIC so that it does not hamper the production.
• Responsible for alternate vendor development which meets the regulatory requirements/companys specification and is cost effective and has a shorter lead time.
• Acquiring vendor qualification documents and other technical documents from the vendors.
• Coordination with companys stakeholders such as CQA, FD, ARD, RA, QC, Project Management, Accounts and Stores.

Job Specifications:

• Bachelors / Masters degree in: Pharmacy / Chemistry / Chemical Engineering (MBA is a plus)
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in API/ Excipient sourcing, Pharma procurement, R&D sourcing in formulations companies
• Strong understanding of Global pharmaceutical supply chain.
