Job summary

Carbyne Infrastructure in Saket, Delhi seeks an Assistant Manager Projects to lead coordination of residential/commercial real estate projects. Travel may be required as per project needs.

The role requires hands-on AutoCAD drafting, BOQ tracking, and RERA familiarity, supported by strong MS Excel skills and vendor management.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in managing residential or commercial real estate projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities with site teams, contractors, architects, and vendors.
  • Monitor project progress against approved timelines and ensure timely completion of activities.
  • Review, draft, and update architectural, structural, and site drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure execution is in line with approved drawings and project requirements.
  • Support RERA-related activities, including documentation, portal updates, regulatory filings, quarterly progress updates, and compliance records.
  • Review BOQs and contractor bills and verify quantities of work executed at site.
  • Track material usage and project costs against approved budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to resolve site-related issues and ensure adherence to agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain project trackers, progress reports, cost sheets, site records, and other required project documentation.
  • Coordinate for local municipal approvals, sanctioned plans, and compliance with applicable building bye-laws.
  • Provide regular updates to the reporting manager on project progress, issues, delays, costs, and required corrective actions.
  • Identify potential project issues and coordinate timely corrective measures to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Travel to project/site locations as and when required.

Qualification
  • M.E. / M.Tech in Civil Engineering Preferred
  • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience
  • Project Coordination: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in managing residential or commercial real estate projects.
  • AutoCAD Experience: Proven experience in using AutoCAD to review, draft, and modify layouts, architectural plans, and structural drawings.
  • RERA Exposure: Working knowledge and prior experience with RERA-related activities, including regulatory filings, documentation, quarterly progress updates, and compliance records.
  • Site, Vendor Management & Documentation: Experience coordinating and documenting day-to-day work with site teams, contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Cost & BOQ Tracking: Experience in handling Bill of Quantities (BOQ), checking contractor bills, and tracking material usage against approved budgets.
  • Local Building Byelaws: Basic understanding of local municipal approvals, building bye-laws, and sanctioned plans.
Functional / Technical Skills
  • AutoCAD: Fluent in reading, drafting, and updating drawings and site plans accurately.
  • RERA Compliance: Familiarity with applicable state RERA rules, portal updates, statutory submissions, and project-related documentation.
  • Project Software & MS Excel: Good command of MS Excel for maintaining project trackers, progress reports, cost sheets, and project-related MIS.
  • Quality & Safety Control: Ability to conduct site inspections and ensure work is executed in accordance with approved specifications and required quality and safety standards.
  • Communication & Coordination: Clear spoken and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, contractors, consultants, architects, and vendors.
