Talent Analytica in India is seeking a Project Procurement professional with 5-9 years of experience in instrumentation, electrical and mechanical items for large chemical projects. You will manage quotes, vendor evaluation and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities include timely indents, competitive pricing, vendor list updates, and on-time delivery monitoring with regular vendor visits to ensure project milestones are met.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech with 5-9 years experience in Project Procurement of Instrumentation/Electrical/Mechanical items in large scale chemical projects.
• Experience in procurement of instrumentation, electrical and mechanical items for major projects.
• Strong vendor development and supplier coordination skills.

Job description

On time Procurement for project and maintenance items

• Taking timely action on indents by obtaining quotes in time.
• Ensuring all the offers are technically evaluated and vendors are at par.
• Procurement at competitive prices for A & B category items.
• Identifying the prospective vendors for the typical items required and coordinating with Projects Quality to update the approved vendor list.
• Ordering and proposals based upon the factors like Price, On time delivery and Equipment loading on individual vendor.
• Close coordination with supplier to review the current status of ongoing jobs. Vendor visits for checking the status of on-going jobs.

Vendor Development for new Project Equipments

• Development of new vendors for better pricing and delivery Logistics Management
• Co-coordinating with transporter for on time delivery of material.

Systems Management

• Co-coordinating with Project coordinators/Project Quality department/ Project Manager for controlling all the documents.
• Ensuring functionality of procurement software and hardware systems.
• Resolving operational issues related to day today procurement functions; Requesting for changes if necessary
• Ensures that standards for purchasing are prepared and followed.
• Ensure quality documentation at each stage of procurement.
• Ensure to follow integrated document flow system.

Preferred candidate profile

Ideal Candidate must be a B.E./B.Tech with 5-9 years of experience in Project Procurement of Instrumentation/Electrical/Mechanical items in large scale chemical projects
