Job summary

Luminous Power Technologies, Angul Plant, is seeking an Assistant Manager - Production (Plate Generation). You will lead plate generation operations, align manpower, and drive quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Reporting to Production, you will optimize processes and coordinate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement. Seeking 6–10 years in battery manufacturing with plate generation exposure; strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 6–10 years of experience in battery manufacturing with plate generation exposure.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead plate generation operations to meet production targets.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing processes and product quality standards.
• Manage manpower deployment and resource planning across shifts.
• Monitor process parameters and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, planning, SCM, and EHS teams.
• Drive productivity, cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives.
• Lead TPM, Lean, 5S, Kaizen projects for operational excellence.
• Ensure ISO, EHS and statutory compliance.
