Job summary

Luminous India (Luminous Power Technologies) seeks a Sr. Officer - Production (Plate Generation) to lead plate generation during rotational shifts, monitor parameters, and ensure adherence to SOPs in our manufacturing facility.

You will supervise operators and contract staff, coordinate with maintenance, and drive quality, productivity, and cost improvements while maintaining records and complying with EHS and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in battery manufacturing, plate generation, or similar process operations.
• Good understanding of plate generation processes, process control, and production operations.
• Knowledge of manpower management and shop floor coordination.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.
• Basic knowledge of quality systems, EHS standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.

• Execute plate generation operations during the assigned shift to achieve production targets.
• Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements and process specifications.

• Maintain shift-wise production records and process documentation.
