Job summary

IAC India is seeking an experienced procurement professional in Pune to develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business goals. You will lead RFQ/RFP processes, evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and drive cost reductions through VA/VE and localization efforts.

Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and Program Management, you will support new product launches, changes, and ensure uninterrupted material supply while delivering reports and

Responsibilities

• Meet with supplier management for monthly quality/cost/delivery/development reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and Program Management for launches and changes.
• Ensure uninterrupted material supply and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost-saving dashboards, and management presentations.
• Create purchase orders and extract reports with SAP MM.

Role & responsibilities

1. Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
2. Lead RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and final supplier selection.
3. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, tooling costs, and delivery schedules.
4. Drive annual cost reduction initiatives through VA/VE, localization, resourcing, and productivity projects.
5. Meeting with supplier management for monthly poor performing.(Quality/Cost/Delivery/Development)
6. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and Program Management for new product launches and engineering changes.
7. Support for SCM uninterrupted material supply and mitigate supply chain risks.
8. Prepare procurement reports, cost-saving dashboards, and management presentations.
9. Create a Purchase order and extract report with handling SAP MM.
10. Prepare IATF Audit required Documents

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 8 to 10 years
• Qualification: BE / Diploma with Equivalent experience.
