Job summary

Krishna Group in Becharaji, Gujarat, seeks AM/DM (Capex-Opex) with 8-12 years' experience to lead procurement of RM and BOP for auto components.

The role requires strong negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, quality, and production.

SAP processes and MIS reporting experience preferred; familiarity with plastic/injection-moulded components is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, or Graduate with Diploma in Supply Chain.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in procurement for auto components.

Responsibilities

• Handle the procurement of Direct Materials (RM) and Bought-Out Parts (BOP), including metals and plastics.
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and monitor the performance of suppliers
• Manage Capex and Opex buying, including end-to-end negotiation with vendors
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and VA/VE projects with suppliers and internal teams
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams on material requirements and drawings
• Ensure timely procurement, inventory control, and supply continuity
• Maintain and update procurement data, MIS reports, and presentations

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle the procurement of Direct Materials (RM) and Bought-Out Parts (BOP), including metals and plastics.
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and monitor the performance of suppliers

• Drive cost reduction initiatives and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) projects with suppliers and internal teams

• Maintain and update procurement data, MIS (Management Information System) reports, and presentations
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and SAP processes

Preferred: Experience in sourcing plastic / injection-moulded components
