Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Nashik is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer with 3–7 years' experience to lead APQP-backed project execution, tooling and process design for new products.

You will plan facilities, equipment, and fixtures, drive ECN/PCRN/PDRN implementations, and support vendors across capacity expansion and localization.

Qualifications

• Experience in APQP-driven manufacturing projects ensuring readiness.
• Plan and implement tooling, fixtures, gauges, and equipment for new products.
• Drive ECN, PCRN, and PDRN for major tooling and process changes.
• Knowledge of robotics and PLC.
• Support process audits and infrastructural development for sustained excellence.
• Mechanical engineering background with 3–7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute new projects and model/variant introductions by ensuring process readiness.
• Plan and implement facilities, tools, fixtures, gauges, and equipment for new products and changes.
• Drive implementation of ECNs, PCRNs, and PDRNs for tooling and process changes.
• Provide process and tooling support to vendors for capacity expansion and localization.
• Perform capacity planning, line balancing, and introduction of new technologies.
• Establish, review, and improve processes, layouts, and work methods to boost productivity.
• Maintain and control design drawings and technical documents for jigs, fixtures, dies, gauges, welding fixtures, and assembly equipment.
• Resolve process, quality, and field concerns, support audits, and drive infrastructural development.

• Prepare and execute new projects and model/variant introductions by ensuring process, tooling, facility, and production readiness in line with APQP requirements
• Plan and implement facilities, tools, fixtures, gauges, and equipment, including budget preparation, procurement, installation, and commissioning for new products and process changes
• Drive implementation of ECNs, PCRNs, and PDRNs involving major tooling, equipment, and process modifications to support manufacturing requirements
• Provide process and tooling support to vendors for new projects, capacity expansion, localization, and major replenishment activities
• Perform capacity planning, line balancing, and introduction of new technologies to enhance manufacturing capability, productivity, qualityand cost effectiveness
• Establish, review, and improve manufacturing processes, layouts, and work methods to reduce work content, optimize resources, and improve overall productivity
• Maintain and control design drawings and technical documents related to jigs, fixtures, dies, gauges, welding fixtures, and assembly equipment
• Knowledge of Robotics & PLC and need to work on the same
• Resolve process, quality, and field concerns, ensure process audit readiness, support DCP reviews, and lead infrastructural development initiatives for sustained operational excellence
