Larsen & Toubro in Mumbai seeks a Fire & Safety Engineer to develop hazardous area classifications, fire water hydraulics, and safety layouts. You will prepare PIPENET calculations, participate in Hazid/Hazop/LOPA/SIL reviews, and support fire protection design across projects.

Works include vent dispersion studies, escape route layouts, and review of firefighting equipment vendor offers; you will coordinate with lead engineers to ensure deliverables meet schedules.

Competenze

• Experience in Hazardous Area Classification and related layouts.
• Proficient in fire water demand calculations and hydraulic analysis (PIPENET).
• Familiar with Hazid/Hazop/LOPA/SIL safety reviews.
• Capability to design firewater pumps, deluge, and sprinkler layouts.
• Ability to review vendor offers for firefighting equipment.

• Review vendor offers for firefighting items To provide engineering support to Lead Engineers for contract execution.

• To be responsible for all the work with reference to a document/deliverables and/or activity assigned to him.
• To ensure that the documents/deliverables, generated, are in order before issuing it to others.
• To anticipate and discuss any potential delays and problems, if a with the Lead Engineer
• To co-ordinate with the fellow Job Engineers and Lead Engineers for smooth progress of the contract
• To close audit findings in a timely manner.
• To provide inputs as and when required to the relevant disciplines and to designers
• To identify the inputs required for Need list and Hold list and update Dispersion and Radiation Analysis/study reports, Fire water Hydraulic Analysis report, Hazardous Area Classification Schedule, Dropped Object Study, Quantitative Risk Assessment & other safety studies
