Job summary

We One is seeking an Ocean Import Operations professional to manage FCL/LCL import shipments from pre-arrival to final delivery and closure, coordinating with shipping lines, NVOCCs, CFS/ICDs, CHAs, transporters and overseas agents.

You will track vessel schedules and shipment milestones, ensure timely shipment updates, support SOPs and SLAs, manage documentation and customs, and coordinate billing inputs to ensure timely shipment closure.

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean import operations.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in shipping and customs.
• Track schedules, milestones, and timelines for shipments.

Responsibilities

• Manage FCL/LCL import shipments from pre-arrival to final delivery and closure.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs, CFS/ICDs, CHAs, transporters, and overseas agents.
• Track vessel schedules, cargo availability, shipment milestones, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure timely shipment updates and adherence to SOPs and SLAs. Documentation & Customs
• Verify BLs, invoices, packing lists, and other import documentation.
• Coordinate documentation amendments, customs clearance, and Delivery Order processing.
• Ensure compliance with customs, port, and company requirements.
• Follow up with shipping lines and vendors for cargo release and timely delivery.
• Resolve routine shipment issues and escalated critical exceptions.
• Provide timely shipment updates and address customer queries.
• Maintain shipment trackers, operational MIS, and accurate shipment records.
• Monitor turnaround times, pending activities, and documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate billing inputs and ensure timely shipment closure.
