Job summary

ATA is seeking a Senior Executive – Ocean Operations (LCL) to manage end-to-end LCL import and export operations, plan consolidations, and coordinate with global partners to ensure compliance and timely deliveries.

The role requires 5–6 years in Ocean Freight Operations with LCL exposure, plus hands-on consolidation planning, documentation expertise, and strong stakeholder coordination to drive efficiency and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in Ocean Freight Operations with strong exposure to LCL shipments.
• Hands-on experience in consolidation planning and console management.
• Good understanding of international freight forwarding, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Experience working with overseas agents, co-loaders, and shipping lines.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete LCL import and export shipment operations.
• Plan and execute consolidation and deconsolidation activities.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, co-loaders, shipping lines, customers, and internal teams.
• Ensure timely shipment execution, space planning, and schedule management.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation including HBL, MBL, invoices, packing lists, and manifests.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and timely filing of required documentation.
• Monitor shipment movement and proactively address operational challenges.
• Communicate shipment status and provide timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and system updates.
• Monitor service quality, turnaround times, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth execution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Support team members and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
