Job summary

DP World in Gurugram, India, seeks an Ocean Import Operations professional to manage FCL/LCL import shipments from pre-arrival to final delivery and closure. You will coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs, CFS/ICDs, CHAs, and transporters, track vessel schedules, cargo availability, milestones, and delivery timelines, and ensure compliance with SOPs and customer requirements.

• Manage FCL/LCL import shipments from pre-arrival to final delivery and closure.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs, CFS/ICDs, CHAs, transporters, and overseas agents.
• Track vessel schedules, cargo availability, shipment milestones, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure timely shipment updates and adherence to customer
• Verify BLs, invoices, packing lists, and other import documentation.
• Coordinate documentation amendments, customs clearance, and Delivery Order processing.
• Ensure compliance with customs, port, and company requirements.
• Follow up with shipping lines and vendors for cargo release and timely delivery.
• Resolve routine shipment issues and elevate critical exceptions.
• Provide timely shipment updates and address customer queries.

• Maintain shipment trackers, operational MIS, and accurate shipment records.
• Monitor turnaround times, pending activities, and documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate billing inputs and ensure timely shipment closure
