Role Summary

The Executive Assistant to the Managing Director will work closely with the MD to drive manufacturing excellence, multi-plant performance, CAPEX, OPEX, and operational MIS across Magicrete's AAC Blocks manufacturing operations.

The role will coordinate closely with Plant Heads across locations to monitor plant performance, identify operational gaps, drive improvement initiatives, and ensure timely execution of key manufacturing and CAPEX priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Plant Heads across Magicrete’s AAC Blocks manufacturing locations to monitor overall plant performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with Plant Heads and track key operational metrics.
• Monitor production, productivity, OEE, yield, wastage, downtime, quality, maintenance and operating costs across plants.
• Identify performance gaps and drive corrective and improvement initiatives with Plant Heads.
• Benchmark plant performance and facilitate sharing of best practices across locations.
• Escalate critical operational issues and delays to the MD with actionable recommendations.
• Prepare and consolidate multi-plant MIS, dashboards and performance reports for the MD.
• Track actual plant performance against budgets, targets and previous-period performance.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers impacting plant performance.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
• Track CAPEX projects from planning and approval through execution and commissioning.
• Monitor CAPEX budgets, timelines, utilization and project progress across plants.
• Review major OPEX heads and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Track business impact and ROI of major CAPEX initiatives.
• Work closely with the MD and Plant Heads on key manufacturing and operational initiatives.
• Track action items, timelines and deliverables across plants.
• Monitor implementation of manufacturing excellence and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely closure of critical operational projects and improvement initiatives.

Required Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• MBA / PGDM in Operations, Finance, or Business Management will be an added advantage.

Experience & Industry Background

• 3–4 years of experience in Manufacturing Excellence, Plant Operations, Business Excellence, CAPEX, or Management Consulting.
• Experience in AAC Blocks, Cement, Building Materials, or allied manufacturing industries will be preferred.
• Strong experience in multi-plant coordination, plant MIS, performance analysis, CAPEX/OPEX tracking, and operational improvement.
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and execution skills.
• Willingness to travel across Magicrete manufacturing locations as required.
