Job summary

Magicrete Building Solutions Pvt. ltd. in Mumbai seeks an Assistant Manager – Projects - Panels to lead contractor identification, onboarding and training for AAC panel installations across the Western Region.

You will manage contractor performance, ensure adherence to installation standards, and build a reliable contractor network to support Magicrete's projects with travel across Pan India as required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Project Execution, Site Execution, Contractor Management, or Installation Operations.
• Experience in AAC Panels, Precast, PEB, façade systems, or similar construction products.
• Experience in managing installation contractors, applicators, or subcontractors.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Western Region and Pan India as required.

• Contractor Identification & Development: Identify and develop a strong pool of AAC Panel installation contractors across the Western Region.
• Contractor Training & Capability Building: Train contractors on installation methodology, anchoring, alignment, jointing, handling, and safety practices.
• Contractor Deployment & Management: Identify and deploy suitable contractors based on project requirements, location, manpower, and execution capability.
• Quality & Performance Monitoring: Monitor installation quality and contractor performance; conduct regular site visits and address issues.

Role Summary

The Assistant Manager – Contractor Management will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, training, and managing a strong pool of AAC Wall Panel installation contractors across the Western Region. The role will focus on developing contractor capabilities, ensuring adherence to installation standards, improving execution quality, and maintaining a reliable contractor network to support Magicrete's AAC Panel projects.

Key Responsibilities

Contractor Identification & Development

• Identify and develop a strong pool of AAC Panel installation contractors across the Western Region.
• Evaluate contractors based on experience, technical capability, manpower, and execution capacity.
• Onboard and develop reliable contractors for AAC Panel installation projects.
• Maintain an active database of trained and available contractors.

Contractor Training & Capability Building

• Train contractors and applicators on AAC Panel installation methodology, anchoring, alignment, jointing, handling, and safety practices.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and site-level training for contractor teams.
• Establish standard installation practices to ensure consistent execution quality.
• Identify capability gaps and conduct refresher training as required.

Contractor Deployment & Management

• Identify and deploy suitable contractors based on project requirements, location, manpower, and execution capability.
• Monitor contractor availability and manpower deployment.
• Maintain regular communication with contractors regarding upcoming installation requirements.
• Build long-term relationships with high-performing contractors.

Quality & Performance Monitoring

• Monitor installation quality and adherence to prescribed installation standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess contractor performance and execution quality.
• Identify recurring installation issues and address them through training and corrective actions.
• Track contractor productivity, quality, manpower availability, and execution performance.
• Develop and maintain a high-performing contractor network.

Required Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience & Industry Background

• 5–7 years of experience in Project Execution, Site Execution, Contractor Management, or Installation Operations.
• Experience in AAC Panels, Precast, PEB, façade systems, or similar construction products will be preferred.
• Experience in managing installation contractors, applicators, or subcontractors will be highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction execution and installation practices.
• Strong contractor relationship management and training skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Western Region and Pan India as required.
