Job summary

Mahindra Logistics is seeking an Assistant Manager - Operations to oversee inbound, outbound, and inventory activities. The role includes managing dock allocation, QC, GRN creation, and putaway, as well as returns handling, shift supervision, and end-of-day reporting.

The successful candidate will coordinate with planning, finance and transport teams to ensure SOP adherence and on-time performance across the warehouse network.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Ability to coordinate multiple functions (warehouse, planning, finance, transport).
• Strong focus on process adherence and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle reporting, dock allocation, unloading, QC, GRN creation, and putaway.
• Oversee picking, packing, staging, invoicing coordination, manifesting, and dispatch.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle count, reconciliation, and consolidation.
• Oversee receipt, QC, system entry, and closure of returns within TAT.
• Supervise supervisors and associates and manage shift deployment.
• Prepare EOD reports, conduct RCAs, and coordinate with planning, finance, and transport teams.

Inbound Operations

• Manage vehicle reporting, dock allocation, unloading, QC, GRN creation, and putaway.
• Ensure document verification and adherence to inbound TATs.

Outbound Dispatch Operations

• Oversee picking, packing, staging, invoicing coordination, manifesting, and dispatch.
• Ensure 100% SKU quantity accuracy and adherence to platform-specific SOPs.

Inventory Management

• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle count, reconciliation, and consolidation.
• Monitor stock aging and damaged inventory.

Returns Management (RTO B2B)

• Oversee receipt, QC, system entry, and closure of returns within TAT.

Manpower Management

• Supervise supervisors and associates and manage shift deployment.

Reporting Coordination

• Prepare EOD reports, conduct RCAs, and coordinate with planning, finance, and transport teams.
