Job summary

Siva Group is seeking a maintenance supervisor to design and implement maintenance strategies across multiple units. You will organise routine servicing, monitor costs, and allocate tasks to fitters to prevent breakdowns.

Responsibilities include calibrating instruments, performing inspections, and coordinating 24-hour cover with Production Managers. You will ensure safety compliance and oversee three manufacturing units in India and UAE.

• Organising routine servicing schedules. Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts and carry out scheduled maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns.
• Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
• Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
• Allocating work to a team of fitters.
• Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate.
• Carrying out quality inspections.
• Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed.
• Organising teams to make sure 24-hour cover is available. Coordinating with the Production Managers.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.
• Respond immediately to machinery breakdowns.
• Responsible for handling three Manufacturing Units in India and UAE.
