Plans, organizes and supervises the overall activity of maintenance & operations of Plant & Utilities / Electrical / Instrumentation.

• Coordinates, assigns, directs daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly schedules
• Establishes job priorities and time frames for Maintenance Staff for all three departments
• Responsible for installation or repair of Electrical / HVAC systems / plant maintenance and utility operation and maintenance
• Monitors completion of job assignments through frequent field observation and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and instruction and revises instructions and time frames as necessary
• Responsible for training employees on equipment, task procedures, work standards and proper safety procedures
• Schedules and supervises maintenance activities within the system, including work performed by contractors or subcontractors
• Creates and develops documents related to RFP or RFB maintenance projects
• Supervises maintenance and servicing of packing system equipment / producing equipment
• Determines need for outside contractors to be involved in construction projects
• Maintains appropriate documentation of maintenance schedules, equipment installations, structural repairs and work orders and other operating reports for each location
• Manages maintenance budget including monitoring inventory and expenses
• Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned
• Manages maintenance schedules and budgets of all reporting departments
• Delivers planned and property maintenance of all reporting departments
• Manages a team of multi‑disciplined mechanical / electrical / instrument maintenance technicians
• Plans, directs and controls the efforts of the team
• Ensures all electrical equipment is in safe working order in line with current regulations
• Ensures all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation
• Designs maintenance programs for the engineering division
• Checks electrical units
• Delegates work responsibilities
• Records daily maintenance activity of mechanical / electrical / instrumentation
• Mentors inexperienced or new employees
• Runs an efficient repairs reporting system
• Responds quickly to any emergencies
