Job summary

Mtar Technologies is seeking a logistics and supply chain expert to oversee end-to-end logistics in a manufacturing SEZ environment. You will manage inbound/outbound operations, material movement, import/export shipments and compliance with SEZ and DGFT rules.

Candidate should have 5–10 years in logistics, strong coordination skills and experience with ERP systems and MS Excel. Prior exposure to aerospace/defence/sez operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, preferably in a manufacturing SEZ environment.
• Strong experience in SEZ logistics, import/export and customs documentation.
• Knowledge of SEZ Rules, Customs procedures and DGFT regulations.
• Experience coordinating with CHA, freight forwarders, transporters and SEZ authorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inbound and outbound logistics operations for the SEZ unit.
• Coordinate movement of materials between SEZ, DTA units, customers, vendors and ports.
• Manage import/export shipments, including documentation and shipment tracking.
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, transporters and SEZ authorities.
• Ensure compliance with SEZ, Customs, DGFT and applicable statutory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation including shipping bills, invoices and packing lists.
• Monitor shipment schedules, costs, delivery timelines and logistics performance.
• Develop and monitor logistics KPIs such as OTIF and transit times.

Role Overview

Responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations within an SEZ manufacturing environment, including material movement, import/export documentation, transportation, customs coordination and compliance with SEZ regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inbound and outbound logistics operations for the SEZ unit.
• Coordinate movement of raw materials, components, finished goods and equipment between SEZ, DTA units, customers, vendors and ports.
• Manage import and export shipments, including documentation and shipment tracking.
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, transporters, customs authorities and SEZ officials.
• Ensure compliance with SEZ, Customs, DGFT and applicable statutory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation including shipping bills, invoices, packing lists, e-way bills, BOE and other required documents.
• Monitor shipment schedules, transportation costs, delivery timelines and logistics performance.
• Ensure proper material documentation, traceability and reconciliation for SEZ transactions.
• Coordinate with Stores, Procurement, Production, Finance and Commercial teams for timely material movement.
• Handle SEZ records, registers, approvals and periodic documentation/reconciliation.
• Resolve logistics issues related to delays, customs clearance, transportation and documentation.
• Develop and monitor logistics KPIs covering OTIF, transit time, freight cost and shipment accuracy.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain, preferably in a manufacturing SEZ environment.
• Strong experience in SEZ logistics, import/export and customs documentation.
• Knowledge of SEZ Rules, Customs procedures and DGFT regulations.
• Experience coordinating with CHA, freight forwarders, transporters and SEZ authorities.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong coordination, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Qualification
• Graduate / B.E./B.Tech / MBA Logistics & Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Preferred: Candidates with experience in Engineering / Aerospace / Defence / Nuclear / Precision Manufacturing SEZ operations.
