Job summary

Magicrete Building Solutions Pvt. ltd. is seeking an Executive - Logistics & Dispatch at our Shoolagiri plant in Tamil Nadu. You will manage day-to-day dispatch and logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipments and coordinating with transporters and customers.

The role requires strong planning, MS Excel skills, and experience in dispatch documentation, with ERP/SAP knowledge preferred. A relevant degree and about 6 years of logistics experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Diploma / relevant qualification with strong logistics experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch planning and execution as per customer and sales requirements.
• Coordinate vehicle placement, loading, and dispatch of finished goods from the plant.
• Coordinate with transporters and drivers for timely vehicle availability and delivery.
• Ensure accurate preparation and verification of dispatch documents.
• Track vehicles and monitor delivery status until material reaches the customer.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Stores, and Accounts teams for smooth dispatch operations.
• Maintain dispatch records, transporter details, and delivery documentation.
• Monitor transportation costs and support optimization of logistics expenses.
• Resolve issues related to vehicle delays, loading, transit, and delivery.
• Ensure proper loading practices and minimize material damage during transportation.
• Prepare daily dispatch and logistics MIS reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and statutory documentation.

Role Summary

Experience & Industry Background

• Around 6 years of experience in Logistics, Dispatch, Transportation, or Supply Chain operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, AAC Blocks, AAC Wall Panels, Precast, Building Materials, Construction, or related industries will be preferred.
• Strong experience in plant dispatch operations, vehicle planning, transporter coordination, and delivery tracking.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch and transportation operations.
• Good vehicle planning and transporter management skills.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of dispatch documentation and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics MIS reporting.
• Working knowledge of ERP / SAP or other logistics systems will be preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple dispatches and priorities under tight timelines.
• Strong focus on accuracy, cost control, and timely delivery.
• Ability to work effectively in a plant-based and fast-paced environment.
