Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle Level 1 LAN/WAN, switches, Wi-Fi, VPN issues.
• Provide Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP support.

Job Title: Assistant Manager IT Infrastructure & Operations

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure professional to manage and maintain IT systems, networking infrastructure, warehouse technology, and end-user computing at a National Distribution Centre (NDC). The role involves ensuring smooth warehouse operations, minimizing IT downtime, and providing technical support to employees and retail stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, workstations, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.


• Support warehouse technology, including Zebra handheld terminals, barcode scanners, mobile computing devices, and thermal/label printers used in inventory management, scanning, dispatch, and logistics operations.


• Handle Level 1 troubleshooting for LAN/WAN, network switches, Wi-Fi, VPN, and connectivity issues.


• Provide basic support for Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file servers.


• Provide end-user technical support at the distribution centre and remote IT support to retail stores.


• Support endpoint and identity management using Microsoft Intune, Okta, SSO, and MFA.


• Maintain CCTV systems, NVRs, IP cameras, video conferencing, and audio-visual equipment.


• Manage IT assets, hardware inventory, preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and technical documentation.


• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, warehouse operations, and central IT teams for installations, repairs, and issue resolution.


• Monitor IT incidents, ensure timely resolution within SLAs, and minimize disruptions to business-critical warehouse operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, System Engineering, or IT Operations.


• Hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting, networking, Windows systems, and end-user support.


• Experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or distribution centre IT operations is strongly preferred.


• Working knowledge of Zebra devices, barcode scanners, thermal printers, Windows Server, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.


• Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Okta, CCTV/NVR, and IT asset management is an advantage.


• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, vendor coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
