Job summary

RPG Group in India seeks a procurement professional to manage supplier relations and material planning. You will process PR to PO daily, run RFQs via Oracle Fusion, and coordinate with CMD on copper and aluminium bookings.

The role covers sourcing of transformers oil, insulation, and metals, ensuring available materials per production and sales plans, and timely invoicing and MIS reporting. Experience in supplier negotiations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily PR to PO conversion.
• RFQ through Oracle Fusion to suppliers, E-Auction to award orders.
• Booking of Copper & Aluminium in coordination with CMD.
• Procurement of commodities like Transformer Oil, Insulation, Copper, Aluminium.
• Ensure Material Availability as per Production & Sales plan to meet internal targets.
• ASN & BPA Implementation, Ensure timely GRN & Invoice booking in Finance thereby ensure timely payment to suppliers.
• Periodic Supplier Account Reconciliation.
• Close coordination with Supplier, quality & Design team to provide correct technical specs to supplier.
• Managing Jobwork Supplier.
• Daily Production review meeting & Incoming quality rejection meeting.
• Close Supplier SCAR.
• Work with Supplier to improve Supplier processes to improve incoming quality.
• Inventory Control & liquidation of obsolete inventory.
• Weekly MIS, Tracking of Critical Material & Monthly MIS.
