• Lead vendor performance reviews and reconciliations.
• Ensure consistent quality supply and enforce penalties as needed.
• Provide supply forecasts to IBP team and plants.
• Contribute to IM transformation via ARIBA and e-invoicing.

Position Summary:

Accountable for Cement plant in North India for Raw Material sourcing, transport & fuel Transportation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deploy robust Raw Material & Fuel transportation sourcing plan of North Plants.
• Budget compliance in procurement of Raw materials & Fuel transportation .
• Develop a long term strategy and roadmap for securing raw material and fuel transportation.
• Drive WOW programe in North RM by Cost reduction through (procurement / indbound logistics/Source Optimization & ARM)
• Ensuring WOW saving over FY 22 by 10% reduction on losses i.e moisture / Dead freight - PFA / CFA / RO / UWG
• Drive LEAP agenda through Vendor performance, reconciliation & BG submission.
• Ensuring consistent quality supply of raw materials, putting stringent quality & penalty terms .
• Provide supply forecasts to IBP Team and Plants as required for IBP / MBR - (SR-5 days) from 82% to >90% SR- 5 by Every Month
• Contribute in development of IM transformation program for Raw Material Sourcing in H1 FY 22 and deploy the same in H2 FY 22 to enhance digitalization through ARIBA Auction, Reverse Logistics, E Invoicing, Auto Quality details to BP.
• Reboot Excellence in Execution culture in Procurement function by sustainable development to reduce carbon footprint by increasing 50% rail movement in Ash by FY'22.
• Well versed with the sections & concepts of Receivable, Payable & Procurement related to Raw materials, Industrial Goods, Fuel transportation.
• 100% sourcing through ARIBA Auction.

Key Result Areas:

• Manages day-to-day functioning of purchasing group.
• Participating in procurements of raw material,DFA,Pound Ash, Fuel, AFR etc.
• Management of logistics of Fuel & Raw Materials
• Market Intelligence and act as per market trends for cost optimization.
• Planning and preparing monthly reports pertaining to finance required for maintaining office infrastructure and Facilities.
• Budgeting and cost control measures, monitoring budget vis a vis variance.
• Assisting the department in project management, cost optimization and implementing business expansion plans.
• Cost control and ensuring timely implementation of the project.
• Managing repair, maintenance, vehicles, Etc.
• Processes, documentation, business control checks, audits etc.
• Monitor all statutory compliance areas.
• Liasioning and coordinating with various departments within the corporate office and all Plants.
• Active participation in the leadership team for strategic business planning, implementation, client interaction etc.
