V-Guard is seeking an experienced procurement professional in India to manage raw material and component sourcing, vendor management, and P2P processes in line with production schedules.

You will work with SAP MM for domestic and import purchases, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive supplier performance, inventory health, and cost optimization across consumer durable items.

Experience in indirect procurement and handling metals/plastics/packaging is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Exposure to vendor negotiations, import/export regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• SAP End user skill level important.
• Must have experience in relevant Consumer durable /Appliance industry, handled Metals/Plastics/Packaging/Fabrication item.
• Indirect purchase experience.

Responsabilités

• Drive proactive vendor engagement with a go-getter attitude to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and monitor scheduling lines post-PO release; align supplier schedules with plant requirements.
• Track delivery performance, escalated critical delays, and ensure adherence to monthly supply plans.
• Utilize Vendor Portal for streamlined communication and grievance resolution.
• Collaborate with planning and plant teams to maintain safety stock and optimize storage utilization.
• Develop and maintain procurement dashboards for performance tracking and reporting.
• Own the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Process orders via SAP MM; manage both domestic and import purchases using various Incoterms.
• Implement engineering change notifications (ECR/ECN) and manage rejection material disposal within defined timelines.
• Understand and apply payment terms such as LC/BG in procurement transactions.
• Ensure Long Lead Time parts are well planned based on season requirements.
• Supplier RM wise monitoring and ensure uninterrupted supplies.
• Measure and report RM/component availability against production plans.
• FSN Analysis & Aging Inventory Analysis.
• Indirect Purchase experience.

Responsible for availability of Raw Material & Components as per agreed delivery dates aligned to Production Schedule by effective vendor management and internal escalations.

To prepare the RM delivery schedule against Purchase Orders in alignment with the Production schedule based on supplier capacity in mind.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Vendor Management & Expediting

• Drive proactive vendor engagement with a go-getter attitude to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and monitor scheduling lines post-PO release; align supplier schedules with plant requirements.
• Track delivery performance, escalated critical delays, and ensure adherence to monthly supply plans.

Operational Procurement & P2P Cycle

• Own the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P process, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Process orders via SAP MM; manage both domestic and import purchases using various Incoterms.
• Implement engineering change notifications (ECR/ECN) and manage rejection material disposal within defined timelines.
• Understand and apply payment terms such as LC/BG in procurement transactions.
• Ensure the Long Lead Time parts are well planned based on Season requirement
• Supplier RM wise (ABS) monitoring and ensure uninterpreted supplies.

Inventory & Material Management

• Manage raw material inventory and refine lead times based on plant requirements.
• Measure and report RM/component availability against production plans.
• FSN Analysis & Aging Inventory Analysis
• Indirect Purchase (Opex/Capex) Experience.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to government norms related to taxation, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Apply 5S, QC tools, and process control charts to enhance procurement operations.
• Support corporate SCM initiatives across logistics, planning, strategic sourcing, and supplier development.
