Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tally ERP 9, Word.

  • Must be proficient in maintenance of accounts, TDS, PF, and Professional Tax.
  • Capable of handling returns under Income Tax (10BD), PF, Professional Tax.
  • Pays close attention to information, ensures alignment and accuracy.
  • Time management and prioritization are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage budget and prepare financial reports.

  • Ensure compliance with TDS, Professional Tax, Provident Fund.
  • Visit field areas for project-related work as required.

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, you would be responsible for managing budget, preparing financial reports, and ensuring that all financial transactions are conducted ethically by the grassroot partner.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Work as an independent accountant for the project.
  • Process payments as per the Financial Policy.
  • Prepare donor utilization statements on a monthly basis.
  • Respond to donor queries in a timely manner.
  • Address queries raised by internal and external auditors.
  • Prepare Monthly MIS and present it to management.
  • Assist in the preparation of the organization’s Balance Sheet.
  • Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements and other reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Possess working knowledge of Income Tax, FCRA, and GST.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and Trial Balance on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure timely compliance with TDS, Professional Tax (10BD), Provident Fund, and other statutory requirements.
  • Visit field areas for project-related work during implementation, as required by the organization.
