Job summary

Starair is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 3-8 years post-qualification experience to join our finance team in Bengaluru. Proficiency in GST, TDS, financial reporting and MIS, SAP/ERP, and advanced Excel will be essential.

Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills are required, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. The role covers GST/TDS compliance, bank reconciliations, monthly/quarterly/annual statements, month-end closings, audits coordination, cash flow

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 3-8 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP and advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end GST & TDS compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, tax payments, and handling assessments/notices.
• Prepare and review Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and monitor banking and treasury activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and support finalization of accounts.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and review schedules for financial reporting.
• Prepare MIS reports, management dashboards, and variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual).
• Handle month-end closing activities, including provisions, accruals, and journal entries.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.
• Support financial planning, cash flow monitoring, and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to internal controls and SOPs.
• Utilize SAP/ERP systems and advanced Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
