Job summary

IPEX by Aliaxis in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a senior extrusion operations leader with 10–12 years of PVC pipes experience. You will manage end-to-end extrusion, drive productivity, and lead safety initiatives on the shop floor, while coordinating with procurement, SCM, and dispatch teams.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and ERP proficiency to optimize processes and resources for consistent quality and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering required.
• 10–12 years experience in PVC extrusion, specifically PVC pipes.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
• ERP familiarity is essential.
• Effective communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Set goals for the team aligned with management objectives.
• Oversee extrusion operations including RM input, production scheduling, and packing material management.
• Develop high-performance frontline teams to handle shop floor activities.
• Coordinate with dispatch, stores, SCM, and purchasing.
• Prepare daily and monthly MIS with analysis.
• Plan production and raw materials monthly.
• Assess new projects and automation to boost productivity and quality.
• Provide technical support for the Extruder line and ensure safety standards.

Role Summary:

This role is responsible for overall operation of Extrusion Dept including end to end people management and ensuring safety of people and equipment and Quality of Products. To focus on improving productivity by challenging the status quo and by implementing best practices in the shop floor.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Setting goals to team in line with management objectives.
• Overseeing production operation - RM requirement, production scheduling, packing material mgmt. etc.
• To develop High performance frontline Team to independently handle shop floor activities.
• Coordination with dispatch team, stores, SCM, purchase team.
• Daily and Monthly MIS preparation with analysis.
• Monthly Raw material reconciliation.
• Monthly Production and raw material planning.
• Assessing new projects and automation requirements to improve productivity and Quality
• Technical support to the team - Extruder line.
• Responsible to maintain safety standards as per organization requirements. Leading the safe work practices in the production area. Work towards Zero incident culture.
• Capex/Opex planning for improvement projects, new machineries planning to build capacity and preparation of business case for all improvement projects
• Support the team to ensure product quality as per required standard.
• Determining quality control standards. - for new products / changes in existing products.
• Initiate process optimization and cost-effective solutions
• Ensuring Preventive maintenance of all equipment/machines.
