MG Acryplast Industries Pvt Ltd is seeking a Plant Head for Plastic Sheet Extrusion at its Kadi location. The candidate will lead production, maintenance and capacity planning while ensuring quality and on-time delivery to customers.

Engineering graduates in Polymer or Mechanical fields with CIPET background are preferred. The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cost optimization across plant operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate in Polymer/Mechanical/Production with plastics industry exposure.
• CIPET qualification considered for preference.
• Experience as Plant Head or senior role in plastic extrusion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of plastic extruded sheets (polycarbonate and acrylic) to meet quality standards.
• Manage maintenance and preventive maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Plan capacity and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Highlight issues to seniors and resolve them effectively.
• Plan spares, inventory, raw materials and packing materials to optimize costs.

Relevant Experience: 3 to 5 years -Plant Head in Plastic Extrusion Industry
CTC: 25lpa

Department: Operations
Location: Kadi (Ahmedabad) (should be currently located in Kadi, kalol, Mehsana and Ahmedabad with family) Not looking for relocation candidates

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for Production of Plastic Extruded Sheet (polycarbonate and acrylic) with quality as per Industry Standards
* Responsible for overall maintenance, preventive maintenance of machines and equipments
* Responsible for overall capacity planning and timely delivery of material to the customer
* Should highlight issues to seniors for any support required and resolve the issues
independently
* Responsible for Spares Planning and procurement
* Responsible for Stores, Inventory Management, Raw Material and Packing Material planning
with reference to Business trends
* Controlling Costs to achieve pre decided goals
* Should have system-oriented approach and should be able to build and motivate the team
* Setting Performance Goals for the team and motivate team to achieve the same
* Responsible for Productivity Improvement and overall safety of Manpower, Machinery and
Material
* Should have excellent Leadership Qualities, Communication Skills, Problem Solving Skills,
Administrative Skills and Technical Capabilities.

Variable Cost Optimization: Monitor and reduce the "Cost per KG" by optimizing resin consumption, masterbatch dosing, and reducing "start-up scrap" during grade changes.

Fixed Cost Management: Oversee plant overheads including facility maintenance, insurance, and administrative expenses to ensure they remain within the annual budget.

Energy Management: Track and optimize the Specific Energy Consumption (SEC) of the extruders and cooling systemsone of the highest variable costs in PC/PMMA production.

Yield Analysis: Conduct weekly audits on "Input vs. Output" to identify "invisible losses" in the extrusion process.

Qualification:
Engineering Graduate in Polymer / Mechanical / Production with experience in Plastic Industry OR CIPET.
