Job summary

ZF Group India is seeking an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager – Supplier Quality to drive end-to-end supplier quality activities and successor improvements. The role emphasizes reporting to regional/global teams, supplier readiness, and escalation handling to ensure supplier performance aligns with Customer and internal standards.

The ideal candidate holds a BE/B-tech with 5-7 years of supplier quality experience, with strong knowledge of APQP, auditing, and leadership.

Qualifications

• BE/B-tech with 5-7 years of experience in supplier quality.
• Deep understanding of quality, supply chain and purchasing.
• Project management, product and commodity knowledge.
• Understanding of ZF and customer requirements for suppliers.
• APQP knowledge and auditor skills.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate management/group reporting to region/global.
• Support supplier escalation Level 1 and EL2 Q-performance escalations.
• Lead supplier readiness activities and maturity within projects.
• Manage supplier complaints and 8D activities to protect ZF sites.
• Represent Supplier Quality End-to-End for assigned suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement and global lessons learned (audits, CIP).
• Support purchasing strategies with program/commodity teams.
• Support SNCC collection with escalation by purchasing.

What you can look forward to as Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager – Supplier Quality :

• Responsible for Timely and accurate Management / Group reporting to region/Global, Supporting and executing Divisional Supplier Quality Strategy
• Supporting supplier escalation Level 1 doing EL2 Q-Performance Escalations regarding his suppliers
• Responsible for Supplier readiness activities and achievement of expected maturity level within Projects (Customer but also internal) regarding commodity / regional suppliers
• Responsible for supplier complaint management and protection of ZF Production sites within or outside its region. Including containment activities and 8D Management onsite at regional suppliers
• Represents Supplier Quality E2E regarding assigned suppliers
• Implementation for continuous improvement regarding assigned suppliers and also global Lessons Learned implementation. E.g. regular Audits, Q- Initiatives, CIP, preventive activities,…
• Supporting of purchasing strategies (e.g. PFS, …) together with program, commodity purchasing and related departments
• Responsible for SNCC collection. Supported within escalation by purchasing

Your Profile as Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager Supplier Quality :

• BE/B-tech with 5-7 Years of Relevant experience in Supplier quality.
• Deep understanding in Quality and Supply Chain and Purchasing.
• Project Management skills. Product and commodity knowledge
• Deep understanding of ZF & Customer requirements for suppliers
• Good Leadership skills, Communication skills (English) .APQP Knowledge and Auditor skills
• Expertise in Commodities like tubes, rubber, Stamping, Forging, Casting and special process etc. (Advantage if experience to handle Tubes & Rubber suppliers)
