Job summary

ZF Group in India is seeking an Assistant Manager – Finance & Controlling to drive planning, forecasting and reporting processes. You will ensure timely management and group reporting to regional and global teams, and perform monthly analyses of books at the business unit level.

The role emphasizes investment planning, cost control, project budgeting, and delivering insights on performance against budgets. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and a CA/CMA qualification with 4–7 years of experience are

• CA/CMA qualification mandatory.
• 4–7 years of related experience in a professional role.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; strong business acumen and communication.

Responsibilities

• Planning, Forecasting and Reporting (PFR) and timely management/group reporting to region/global.
• Monitor and approve NPM indents in line with budgets and sales.
• Summarize and track Investment Plans, capex analysis, payback period.
• Adhere to GD and norms for Investment Controlling; identify financial and operational risks.
• Project Planning & Budgeting; provide insights on project performance (cost vs budget, earned value).
• Develop project budgets, forecasts and financial plans; track resource allocation and utilization.

  • Responsible for Timely and accurate Management / Group reporting to region/Global
  • Responsible for Monthly / Annual analysis of books of accounts at the Business unit level
  • Responsible for Reporting, Planning and Forecasting as per Group Directives and ZF IFRS Accounting manual and CoA.
• Monitor and approve NPM indents in comparison with annual budgets (in line with sales).
• Summarizing and tracking Investment Plans, Capex analysis, Pay Back Period etc.
• Responsible for following GD and norms for Investment Controlling.Identify financial and operational risks
• Project Planning & Budgeting.Provide insights on project performance (cost vs budget, earned value, etc.)
• Develop project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, Assist in baseline schedule and cost estimation, Track resource allocation and utilizatio

Your Profile as Assistant Manager – Finance & Controlling :

• 4 – 7 years of related experience in a professional role with professional qualification e.g. CA/ CMA ((Mandate)
• Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively. Ability to work independently with virtual teams
• Skilled with use of Excel and PowerPoint.Demonstrated business acumen and project management experience
• Problem solving skills, including issue identification/structuring, data collection, analysis, synthesizing results, developing actionable and measurable implementation plans
• Ability to develop and implement repeatable processes, metrics, and management reports
• Comfortable working with different levels of the organization and across cultures. Good verbal and written communication skills
