Job summary

Aliaxis is seeking an Automation & Manufacturing Excellence lead to drive automation and digitalization projects across production operations in India. You will oversee Time & Motion studies, MTM, MOST, layout optimization, line balancing and TPM, while delivering waste reduction and continuous improvement.

Lead cross-functional teams with maintenance, quality and warehouse to improve productivity, safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech with manufacturing emphasis

Responsibilities

• Lead Automation & Manufacturing Excellence projects to boost productivity, quality and process reliability.
• Drive IE initiatives including Time & Motion Studies, MTM, MOST, layout optimization and process improvements.
• Identify line balancing, productivity gains, headcount optimization and low-cost automation.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and TPM practices with waste reduction and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate daily production activities and support workplace organization.

Job description

Roles and Responsibility

Automation & Manufacturing Excellence lead automation and digitalization projects to enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and process reliability. Drive Industrial Engineering initiatives including Time & Motion Studies, MTM, MOST, layout optimization, and process improvements. Identify opportunities for line balancing, productivity enhancement, headcount optimization, and low-cost automation. Implement Lean Manufacturing and TPM practices, including Waste Reduction, SMED, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Production Operations

Coordinate daily production activities to achieve operational and production targets. Ensure smooth functioning of manufacturing processes and support workplace organization and waste management initiatives.

Team Leadership

Lead production teams and collaborate with cross-functional functions including Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse. Train and develop team members on SOPs, safety standards, and operational best practices.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to quality standards, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements. Drive corrective and preventive actions while fostering a strong culture of safety, health, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 - 10 Yrs of experience in Manufacturing Operations and Industrial Engineering.
• B. E / B.Tech as educational qualification
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, SMED, and Continuous Improvement
• Hands-on experience in Automation and Digital Transformation projects
• Knowledge of Time & Motion Studies, MTM, MOST, and Process Optimization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities
