Job summary

Thomas Cook India Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced airline ticketing professional to drive margins and manage airline blocks in a fast-paced MICE environment. You will coordinate with internal teams to release blocks on time and ensure accurate reservations following SOPs.

The role emphasizes processing complex fares, maintaining inventory, and building strong airline partner relations to enable long-term collaboration and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the overall air ticketing margins are achieved as per defined targets
• Effective co-ordination with the teams to release airline blocks before the due date
• Meet service level agreement to meet the budget for Air Ticketing
• Compliance and adherence to operating procedures defined in MICE operations
• Ensure timely and accurate reservation and ticketing services in line with organizational systems and procedures.
• Maintain and manage airline inventory effectively, ensuring blocks are released before due dates.
• Work out complex fares and issue tickets with precision and within agreed turnaround times (TAT).
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and compliance with MICE operational guidelines.
• Support destination heads in timely delivery and clearance of seats.
• Build and maintain healthy relationships with airline staff and partners.
• Act as a key point of contact for airline vendors and consultants.
• Ensure equity and goodwill with airline partners to support long-term collaboration.
• Stay updated on fare structures, routing, and airline trends.
• Conduct trend analysis and share qualitative insights with the reporting head and product team for future contracting.
• Drive airline profitability through performance-linked bonuses and strategic inventory usage.
