Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager - Accounts Payable based in Chennai mandatory Hotel Background.. The responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounts payable operations, monitoring compliance with financial procedures, processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, overseeing journal entries, managing accruals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely payments to vendors. The role also involves preparing financial reports and assisting in audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Finance and Accounting, with a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Technical expertise in Journal Entries (Accounting) and knowledge of handling Accruals.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and support decision-making processes.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in financial reporting, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
