Job summary

Servotech Power Systems in Sonipat, Haryana, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Procurement to manage end-to-end sourcing for Inverters, EV Chargers, and related power electronics, ensuring timely availability of critical components.

You will lead vendor development, negotiate with suppliers, prepare RFQs and POs, coordinate with R&D, Production, Quality, and planning, and drive cost reduction and supply continuity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of procurement experience
• Experience in inverter/EV charger/power electronics procurement
• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic components and their applications
• Experience in vendor development, sourcing and commercial negotiations
• Good understanding of BOM, RFQ, PO, lead time, MOQ and supplier evaluation
• Strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder-management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP procurement processes

Responsibilities

• Procure electrical, electronic and mechanical components for Inverter and EV Charger products.
• Develop OEMs, manufacturers and suppliers.
• Handle procurement of PCB/PCBA, IGBT/MOSFET, capacitors, connectors, relays, cables, SMPS, enclosures and other components.
• Source components for EV Chargers, Inverters and related products.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, MOQ, lead times and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Develop alternate sources to ensure cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
• Prepare RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with R&D, Production, Quality, Stores, Finance and Planning for material requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and material availability.
• Resolve issues related to quality, delays, shortages and commercial discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement MIS, vendor database and cost records.
• Support cost reduction, localization and value-engineering initiatives.
• Ensure procurement aligns with specifications and standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for a strong Assistant Manager Procurement with hands-on experience in Inverters, EV Chargers, Power Electronics, or related electrical/electronic products. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor development, commercial negotiations, purchase planning, and ensuring timely availability of critical components.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of electrical, electronic and mechanical components for Inverter and EV Charger products.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable OEMs, manufacturers and suppliers.
• Handle procurement of components such as PCB/PCBA, IGBT/MOSFET, capacitors, connectors, relays, contactors, cables, SMPS, enclosures, cooling systems and other electrical components.
• Source components for EV AC/DC Chargers, Inverters, Power Conversion Systems and related products.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, MOQ, lead time, quality and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Develop alternate sources to ensure cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
• Prepare and release RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with R&D, Production, Quality, Stores, Finance and Planning teams for material requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and material availability.
• Resolve issues related to quality, delayed deliveries, shortages and commercial discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement MIS, vendor database and cost records.

Required Skills & Experience

• Good understanding of BOM, RFQ, PO, lead time, MOQ and supplier evaluation.
